October 8, 2024, Wilmington, NC — Charlotte, NC-based fiber internet provider, Ripple Fiber has agreed to acquire CloudWyze’s residential fiber internet network. Upon the acquisition of the fiber network, CloudWyze plans a major expansion of its Managed IT service offerings to businesses and small-medium enterprises.
For fiber customers in Nash, Harnett and Martin Counties, this transition is set to enhance service to all fiber internet customers. Current CloudWyze Fiber internet customers in these areas can expect a seamless transition with no immediate pricing changes and automatic billing transfer to Ripple Fiber’s payment portal. CloudWyze will retain ownership and management of their fixed wireless networks in Nash and Harnett counties.

Following the acquisition, CloudWyze plans to refocus on its core mission as an IT managed service provider and commercial internet provider, with an increased emphasis on cybersecurity solutions.
